I always appreciate your comments, feedback, questions, and whatnot. I try to answer as many emails as I can, but please be patient…I may be wandering aimlessly around the grocery store trying to remember what I was supposed to get.

  1. Yay!
I’m a new blogger and just found you and another couple of sites that I feel relate more to my life and my family – absolutely normal, but not conventional. To more precisely put it, I’ll explain: when I started blogging it was mainly to use as “resume” for freelance work. But, it’s turned into something I love and completely separate from the freelance stuff I’m trying to do. Anyway, when I started blogging anyone I spoke to would say “You’re a mom blogger” and I guess I thought “Ok, I’m a mom and blog. Makes sense…” But, all of the mom blog sites I found were really conservative (and good for them, that’s cool too) and didn’t fit with me. I’ve even tried to contact a few, but never heard a peep. So, I slowly am ditching the apron and flats that I thought I had to wear to fit in with these mom bloggers, and showing more of myself in my writing. Not that I’ve been doing this a long time… But, at least I’ve learned this early enough on and not years ahead.
I just wanted to say hello! Nice to meet you and it’s nice to know that I don’t have to be a soccer mom to find a place in the blogging world!

    • Hey Jamma! Welcome to Daddy Anarchy! As you’ve figured out, this is the furthest thing from a conventional parenting blog. My kids are my life, but I’ve also got no delusions that I’m the perfect parent. I so totally agree with everything you wrote and can’t wait to check out your site…anything with both tantrums and tattoos in the title has gotta be fuckin awesome! Please feel free to check out the rest of the site! I’ve also got a Facebook and Twitter dedicated to the blog, and a YouTube channel with some of the stupid shit that goes on around here. Look forward to hearing from you again!
