What kind of a moron would post a recipe for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, you might ask?
Well, I’m that moron.
It’s not that I think people are that clueless that they wouldn’t know how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich without a recipe, it’s just that this is a little twist that we all like and spruces up such an old timey favorite.
Peanut Butter and Jelly (not rewriting history here)
Make a PB and J like you normally would, then butter both sides like you would a grilled cheese.
Place the PB and J in a frying pan and drizzle the side that’s facing up with honey.
Flip the sandwich and drizzle the other side with the honey.
Fry the sandwich, flipping frequently to get the bread a golden brown on each side.
Serve the PB and J with a light coating of cinnamon on the top side (you can substitute the cinnamon with powdered sugar, too)
Keep baby wipes handy because the kids will probably wind up a sticky, yet happy mess.
